Our practice is located at Zen1540, 1540 S. McCall Road, Englewood, Florida. I specialize in Therapeutic Massage also known as Integrative Body Work, Swedish or Relaxation Massage, Trigger Point, Myofascial Massage, Integrative Massage, Massage Cupping and Aromatherapy Massage.
My Philosophy: Massage assists the natural healing process of the body. Our body systems are well designed and our bodies yearn to be healthy, our bodies strive for balance. When we live in a manner not conducive to good health, through a lack of proper nutrition, exercise, posture, stressful situations, etc., we unknowingly make it very difficult for our bodies to find the balance required to heal properly. Without balance, we become ill and find our muscles do not work as they should, our joints become stiff and achy, and we feel out of balance!
I have a variety of massage techniques that are used to re-balance the body depending on the needs of each client. Basic Swedish strokes include effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, cross fiber friction, etc. I am also a practitioner of Massage Cupping. it is a very effective technique for reducing muscle tension, spasms, and trigger points. I also employ Deep Tissue work, Active Isolated Resistance stretching and Trigger Point Therapy to get my clients back in balance. I want to provide a relaxing but therapeutic massage session where you will feel better days, weeks or months after your massage is over.
